Ok guys, I have another awesome recipe idea. It’s so simple I can’t believe I didn’t do this before.

I love Larabars. They are just about the only prepared food that I have around at all times because they are “rawish”. I always have one in my purse, in the car and in my travel bags. I ran out of my Cherry Pie bars and was craving one today. Then I realized there are  only 3 ingredients: dried cherries, dates and almonds. I had them all in my pantry. This recipe is so easy and just as good as the real thing, so I will never be out of my bars again.  I will be buying the store brand as well because the packaging is best for travel.

Obviously, any dried fruit and raw soaked nut should work well. I will be trying some new combinations. Can’t wait!

Raw Fruit and Nut Bars

  • Prep Time10 min
  • Yield3 bars
  • Serving Size1 bar
  • Suitable for Diet

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c dried cherries
  • 1/2 c dates
  • 1/2 c raw almonds, soaked and dehydrated

Instructions

Put ingredients in a food processor and process until it comes together in a ball.

Press into a large square and cut in to 3 or more rectangles.
